Mornings – 1st Minyan
Commencing on Thursday 16th December, the daily minyanim will combine, starting times 6.30am weekday and 8am on Sundays and Public holidays. This arrangement will apply until the second week of January.
2nd Minyan
Commencing on Thursday 16th December, the daily minyanim will combine, starting times 6.30am weekday and 8am on Sundays and Public holidays. This arrangement will apply until the second week of January.
Shabbat service
Kabalat Shabbat – 6pm ; Saturday – 2 Services in both main and small Shul starting at 8:15am
Afternoon / Evening
Mincha followed by Ma’ariv +- 1 hour 20 minutes before Shabbat ends
Children Services
Children service are programmes and activites run for kids from the ages two up until ten.
On a practical level , children service provides the opportunity for parents to come and participate in Shul Services whilst knowing that their children are being taken care of in a safe enviroment.
Children are being taught at school or nursery school about the different Jewish values and Holidays.
Children Service is a forum which allows the child to experience all what he or she has learnt at school. All of these activities are done in a fun and positive manner. encouraging the children to participate and be involved.
The Children Service Leaders are integrated and well mannered teenagers who not only run the services but also act as wonderful role-models.
Children Service provides for the child to experience Judaism outside a school enviroment. Sometimes a bitter taste is left in the mouth of a child towards Judaism due to a bad teacher or a bad experience , Children Service allows the child too see that Judaism and its inherent values exist outside the classroom. True and lifelong friends are made at Shul which all begins at this tender age.
Allowing your child to be part of the Shul experience will help in raising your children into well balanced and proud Jews.
Friday night 6-15pm in Minnie Bersohn Nursery School.
10:30am on Saturday.
All services are about an hour.
